No noise was being made. Only a pitch black background, with a grinning Psy-Crow and a clearly disgusted Earthworm Jim confronting him while Psy-Crow was pointing his plasma gun at him.

Jim: *with fury in his eyes* Was... was that all a game..?

Psy-Crow: Game? *he gives a small laugh* It wasn't a game, you stupid can of a worm, it was just brutal lack of honesty. And it just felt so good...

Jim: *he sighs heavily, gripping his fists* *clearly shaking* Grr...

Psy-Crow: It all shows on how you and your friends were really THAT stupid to trust a guy like me! And now I'm back, and straight up ANNIHILATING almost all of my former people... just so they can bow before the Queen Slug-For-A-Butt!

Jim: Did... *grunts* Did you really pay attention to what you just said? "Your own former people"?

Psy-Crow looks aside, and then notices the wave of struggling or dead crows on the floor... he has a distraught face for half a minute before he turns back to Jim, seemingly not caring.

Psy-Crow: But WHAT would make you think I'd care about them anyway? They are inferior to me! I have the strength, I have the suit that helps me survive as a human being, and even more than that! I am the superior crow! *evilly laughs*

*Jim just grunts in fury louder, almost making his hands bleed on how hard he's pressing his fists*

Jim: You... you seriously are not caring, are you? You... You killed your own kind justand you just shrug it off? What.. what the heck, man? *disgusted* Does that... does that make you fulfilled...? ...DOES THAT MAKE YOU HAPPY??!! *suddenly yells, which makes Psy-Crow surprisingly flinch. He never has seen Jim this serious or angry before*

Psy-Crow: *laughs out of sudden* Oh boy, did I tickle your fancy in the wrong way?

Jim: I... Look, Psy-Crow... I.. seriously thought you were just lying at first... I was jealous of how much credit you were getting, I admit. But then... I actually TRUSTED YOU! To do GOOD. And you just throw it all away like it was scribbled paper! And... *sighs louder* And it just makes you really.... ugh... you... you are a sham, Psy-Crow. Nothing more.. nothing less.

Psy-Crow: Well... but... I...

Jim: You are a sham. Just that. You just wasted all that shade of redemption you just demonstrated a few weeks ago. And pretending to have redeemed yourself just even makes you SCRAPE down rock bottom even FURTHER. *drops his head low*

Psy-Crow: *now isn't saying anything*

Jim: You... before any of your "fans" find out about this, you better try to redeem yourself before it's too late. But there's only one problem... *he looks at him with a depressed and angry glare before turning around* It's already too late for me. *he then walks away*

Psy-Crow: *is with a shocked expression now... he then hears clapping*

Queen: Congratulations, Psy-Crow... you just broke Earthworm Jim to the emotional rock bottom! *laughing* You totally showed him how evil is! It makes us happy, and everybody else mad... mwahahaha.. you deserve a party for this... you into one?

Psy-Crow: *crossing arms* Sure...

Queen: Perfect! And just a reminder... evil feels good! *laughing, as she slithers away*

Psy-Crow: *does a faint evil chuckle* Yeah.. evil feels good, heheh.... but... *quietly* Why do I feel so... empty...?

*camera then pans far away, showing alone Psy-Crow, looking down in the ground*
Serious and Earthworm Jim aren't two words that you'd expect to come together, but here I tried to attempt just that.

It came from an idea of mine for an imaginary EWJ4, and on how I'd like it to be focused on a story, while still not abandoning what made the original games great. And imagine this scenario, Psy-Crow says he needs help from Jim to kill a monster, and when they do, it was just a trick so he can ressurrect the Queen Slug-For-A-Butt. Yep, some humor needs to be dropped.

Well, hope you enjoy (or have enjoyed) my shortfic!
